Museo de Oro, Bogota

One of the main attractions in the city of Bogota, Colombia is the Museo de Oro. This museum contains more that 55,000 pieces of gold and historical artifacts from Colombias ancient culture. It has the biggest collection of gold in the world and it has 2 to 3 floors with different types of objects. In 1939, the Bank of Republic was the one who helped and protected the gold. It has been in exhibition for 65 years now. The "Poporo Quimbaya" was the first object in this stunning museum. There is 30,000 pieces of artifacts and 20,000 pieces of ceramics, textiles etc.
